Yang is California based artist. I could not find detailed background of her, but apparently she became professional painter rather recently---however, her painting shows she have very highly trained artist. I love the sophisticated and balanced coloring in the picture, and the twist to the classic looking pictures. I saw the pictures show a elegant rottenness of classic times/culture/paintings... the original artworks looks a lot better than pictures, please check out the link if you are interested in.
